Since 2011, I have been helping small business owners navigate the SBA borrowing process and throughout my career one thing has remained constant: there’s an unfortunate lack of credible information about these loan programs.
This problem stems in part from lenders creating their own (often more conservative) requirements on top of the program requirements and pawning them off on SBA.
This then gets amplified by loan brokers pretending to be experts on social media causing a whole bunch of misinformation in the marketplace.
